Barron Collier Companies Names Blake Gable As New Ceo

Barron Collier Companies today announced that its board of directors has appointed Blake Gable as Chief Executive Officer. Gable will assume the role of Chief Executive on January 1, 2017, and will continue to serve as the President of Barron Collier Companies. Katie Sproul, after 17 years with the Company and eight years as co-president of Barron Collier Companies, will transition her position with Barron Collier Companies at the end of 2016 in order to assume her role as Chief Executive Officer of Halstatt, LLC, the operational and investment firm of the Sproul Family, founded upon the legacy of her late great-grandfather, Barron Gift Collier.

Gable joined Barron Collier Companies in 1999 and just recently served as co-president overseeing real estate development and mineral management. A graduate of Tulane University with an M.B.A. from Florida Gulf Coast University, Gable is a member of the Board of Trustees for Florida Gulf Coast University, and past graduate of both Leadership Florida and Leadership Collier. In addition, he is a former Trustee of the area YMCA, the area American Heart Association, United Way and currently sits on the Boards of Florida Gulf Coast University, Enterprise Florida and The Florida Sports Foundation, as well as the Randy Roberts Foundation.
