Chief Executive Officer
Blake Gable Chief Executive Officer Blake has been an integral part of his family business for more than 20 years with a focus on real estate and mineral investment and development. He oversees a team of 130 employees, 1.3 million square feet of commercial properties, private land holdings of more than 80,000 acres, and one of South Florida’s largest citrus operations.
Commitment to his community is a priority for Blake, who is a graduate of both Leadership Collier and Leadership Florida. In addition, he is the Chairperson of the Florida Gulf Coast University Board of Trustees, where he directs his efforts towards the future of higher education for the state of Florida and career opportunities for University graduates.
Blake also sits on the Audit and Governance Committees for the Board at Consolidated-Tomoko Land Company, a real estate company with a portfolio of income investments in many markets in the United States.
Chief Investment Officer
Brian Goguen Chief Investment Officer Brian has been actively involved in developing and investing in office, retail, self-storage, mixed-use, single-family and multi-family residential real estate projects since 2000. He is a member of the national ULI Community Development Council and an executive committee member of the ULI Florida Residential Neighborhood Development Council. Brian is also a graduate of Leadership Collier and Leadership Florida, and is a board member of Leadership Florida.
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Sonalia Chief Financial Officer Jeff has been with Barron Collier Companies since 2006 and is responsible for general financial oversight, cash management, forecasting, risk management, banking relationships, sourcing/monitoring loans and transaction execution for the Company’s portfolio of investments and holdings. Jeff has been involved in hundreds of commercial real estate transactions including forward and reverse 1031 exchanges and has utilized various form of financing including traditional bank debt, insurance companies, letters of credit and bond financing. Jeff is a CPA and is a graduate of Leadership Collier.
Senior Vice President for Collier Resources
Tom Jones Senior Vice President for Collier Resources Tom has been with BCC since 1989. His responsibilities include overseeing agriculture, mining, oil and gas operations for the company.
P.E, M.B.A, President of Development
David Genson P.E, M.B.A, President of Development David has been in the engineering and land development field since 1993. His experience includes notable projects in Southwest Florida such as the town of Ave Maria and its private water and wastewater utility, Ave Maria Utility Company. David is also responsible for overseeing Barron Collier Companies’ engineering and environmental services division. He is a graduate of both Leadership Collier and Leadership Florida and currently serves on the Florida Transportation Commission as well as the Collier County Housing Authority.
P.E., LEED, AP, President of Engineering
John English P.E., LEED, AP, President of Engineering John is responsible for overseeing current projects and also cultivating new opportunities for Peninsula Engineering. For over 20 years, he has provided civil design, permitting, and construction services for numerous large-scale master planned communities, resorts, golf courses, and commercial developments, among many other land uses of various size and scope.
Senior Vice President of Development
Nick Casalanguida Senior Vice President of Development Nick has over 30 years of land development experience and most recently served as Collier County’s Deputy County Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Hodges University and is a Certified Public Manager through Florida State University’s Center for Public Management. Nick is a graduate of Leadership Collier and served as a Director on the board of the Greater Naples Chamber Leadership Collier Foundation.
Vice President of Acquisitions
Jaime Lopez Vice President of Acquisitions Jaime has been involved in underwriting and investing in mixed-use, office, retail, self-storage, industrial, single-family and multi-family residential projects since 2006. He has extensive experience in financial projections, asset valuation and reporting. Jaime is a graduate of Associate Leadership Collier, Leadership Collier, and CONNECT Leadership Florida. He is also an executive committee member of the ULI Florida Multi-Family Development Council.
Cee Cee Marinelli
Vice President of Commercial Leasing
Cee Cee Marinelli Vice President of Commercial Leasing A native Neapolitan, Cee Cee has been associated with the Barron Collier Companies since 2006 with responsibilities in leasing and development for all of BCC’s commercial properties. She is a member of Leadership Collier Class 2013 and Leadership Florida’s Connect Class VII.
Senior Project Manager of Ave Maria Utility Company
Jason Vogel Senior Project Manager of Ave Maria Utility Company Jason has spearheaded the construction and start-up of Ave Maria’s water and wastewater facilities since its inception in 2006. He is currently responsible for all aspects of AMUC and irrigation operations for the District. Jason and his team also provide water and wastewater services to Collier County Public Schools’ seven facilities in Golden Gate Estates. Jason is also a graduate of Leadership Collier.
Senior Financial Analyst
Amy Qunell Senior Financial Analyst Amy has been a part of BCC since 2002. Her responsibilities include treasury management, reporting, Ave Maria cost sharing, non-qualified deferred compensation, long term incentive plan, health claims, overhead allocations and more. She is a graduate of Leadership Collier, class of 2011 as well as an active Habitat for Humanity volunteer.
Director of Information Technologies
David Shapiro Director of Information Technologies David has been with BCC since 1989, managing all of the IT assets of the company. He was a member of the Leadership Collier Class of 2008 and was an adjunct professor at Hodges University. Prior to joining Barron Collier Companies, David was the Director of Information Technologies for Tampa General Hospital. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University.
General Manager for Collier Environmental Services
Will Elliott General Manager for Collier Environmental Services Will has been building and developing Collier Environmental Services since 2006. They specialize in exotic and invasive vegetation removal, wetland development, lake maintenance, natural areas maintenance, and native plant and littoral zone installations.
Director of Human Resources
Jamie Thompson Director of Human Resources Jamie manages benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance for BCC. She is an active member of HR Collier and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Leadership Collier graduate for the class of 2020, Board Member for the Hunger & Homeless Coalition, and member of the Governance Committee for the Shelter for Abused Women Board. She is a native Neapolitan.
Director of Commercial Property Management
Kelly Kennedy Director of Commercial Property Management Kelly has been in the property management sector since 2004. Her management experience ranges from high-end residential to Class A Commercial. In addition to a Florida Licensed Community Association Manager, she is also a Florida Licensed Real Estate Agent.
Tax Compliance Manager
Brian Stockman Tax Compliance Manager Brian is responsible for scheduling, preparation, and filing of all corporate and partnership tax returns required by federal, state and municipal taxing authorities. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2014.
